Before installation:
Test the illuminated emblem to ensure it’s working correctly. (You can connect it to the car battery to perform the test.)
Removal of the original emblem:
Remove the original emblem from the vehicle.
Clean the area behind the original emblem, removing any remaining adhesive.
Drilling:
Use the provided template to mark the drilling positions accurately.
Drill two holes at the marked positions using a 3.5mm and a 10mm drill bit.
Installation:
Remove the three screws securing the tailgate cover.
Remove the tailgate cover.
Connect the wiring:
For some models, the new emblem can be directly plugged in.
You may need to cut the connector and splice the wires for other models.
Organize the wiring harness to ensure it’s neatly tucked away.
Adhere the illuminated emblem to the tailgate using the pre-applied adhesive.
Seal the connections with the provided waterproof sealant.
Reinstall the tailgate cover and secure it with the screws.
